Biosensor Technology

The QTL Biosensor is a handheld bio-detection instrument
for first responders, HazMat personnel, and military users. 
Designed for field use in full biohazard gear, the
rechargeable battery-powered system delivers test results
in < 5 minutes with excellent sensitivity and false positive
readings below one in one million. 

The performance of the QTL Biosensor has been verified
by several independent laboratories including:

The University of Alabama at Birmingham and
The New York State Department of Health

The instrument captures data from a self-contained cartridge that stores the results of each test.  Test results provide a "GO" OR "NO GO" answer to facilitate decision making at a contaminated site.  Data can be uploaded electronically to a PDA or laptop computer for data storage.  Positive cartridges can then be shipped and utilized for confirmatory screening at approved reference laboratories.
